Some turnover with roster and the coaching staff going into this season. Lost most of our pitching from last season, but will return Dressler, Patel and Chance Kirby. The bullpen looks to be filled with mostly JUCO transfers, though we do get back Andre Shrewcraft from injury. Wildcard is Arkansas pitching transfer Jordan Rodriguez. He was very good as a reliever for Arkansas in 2016 before sitting out last year with an injury.
Trent Bowles, Tony Beam, Ben Brookover, and Bryan Arias all have all conference talent. Middle of the lineup should be strong. If Aldo Buendia can take next step at SS we should be really solid on the infield. The OF is where things get dicey. We bring back former Freshman All American Trent Bowls and he's gonna be good. He could be surrounded by 2 true freshman in the OF though. Marshall signed what could be his best freshman class ever and he's going to need Chance Keng and Dylan Rock to be good quick.
