Caught up with 2019 Refugio defensive lineman Armonie Brown after his unofficial to UTSA yesterday.
On his visit:
“It was great I liked it alot it's a great experience.”
Brown has been in the Alamodome before but it was for the Army All-American Camp this last summer. Although he did not get a chance to speak with the coaches he had some great things to say about the game day experience:
“I liked it alot it was a good experience. I liked seeing how it is on the next level and it motivated me even more when I was watching the game.”
Brown said there is “no doubt” he will be back in the spring/summer to visit UTSA again.
On what caught his attention while on his visit:
“I really like their football team and their school, campus and I've always wanted to play in the Alamodome.”
On Frank Wilson:
“I like how he's really helped the program out a lot. He's taken them to a bowl game last year. I think he's helped the program out a lot.”
Brown is a name that will pick up some steam as he hits junior days and summer camps next year.
