A name to keep an eye on for 2019 is Wylie wide receiver Donovan Ollie. He visited UTSA for the second time this season as a junior. There seems to be interest between both parties and could likely pick up an offer in the future. I talked to him this evening about his visit and UTSA.
“It was great to be back at UTSA. I enjoyed seeing the coaches again and watching another great game.”
Ollie tells me he is contact with coach Kastl, Sands, and director of player personnel Jacob LaFrance. Ollie did say LaFrance plays a “huge roll” in his recruitment along with the other two coaches.
On UTSA:
“...UTSA makes me feel like family every time we talk and both times I’ve been down to visit it feels like home and I’ve known the staff for a long time.”
On a offer and a possible future at UTSA:
“We’ve spoken on my future with the staff and my recruitment with them but i feel like and hope it’s coming soon....I could definitely see myself playing for Coach Wilson at UTSA! I would love to be apart of they’re building process”
On Frank Wilson:
“I think he’s a great guy and coach, me and my family sat in his office and he had lots of great things to say and he made us all feel like family and we’ve been knowing each other forever. Also i love what he’s doing with the team, they’re bowl eligible for the second year in a row now and they’re a very young progam.”
