If you take out the truly awful quarter plus that Bogie played vs Oklahoma St. you get the above stat line when projected over 12 games. Bogie is a true freshman that did that against Arizona, K State and Colorado St. Obviously, the Oklahoma St. game DID happen, and the turnovers are too high regardless. What I saw during the Colorado St game was a QB that tucked when under pressure, and outside of the 1 bad pass that was picked played a pretty clean game. He still misses a few easy passes, but also had 3 or 4 huge drops on Saturday.
The schedule lightens up tremendously as conference play kicks in, and i think the best of Bogie is just about to come out. Juan Perez should be back soon to solidify a line that has played mostly solid football for most of the non conference schedule. He's still the QB of the present and future for this program, and the El Paso game is going to quiet any thoughts folks had that he wasn't.
I hope.
