Earlier this week I caught up, albeit very briefly, with Alex Jacobs. Jacobs is a three-star running back from Cy Ridge HS in Houston and may very well be UTSA's highest rated 2018 pledge. Here's what Jacobs left me with:
-Jacobs has yet to decide whether he will sign in December or February, although February is looking more likely at this point.
-The three-star has no official visits set, at this point.
-Jacobs is most looking forward to the coaching staff improving him as not only an athlete, but student, too.
-The staff and Jacobs speak every other week. Primarily, Jacobs is in contact with Coach Sands.
What I took away from our conversation is that Jacobs is still 100% committed and looking forward to attending UTSA, but he will let his recruiting process play itself out.
