DALLAS – Conference USA announced Wednesday its 2020 league schedule, which completes the fall slate for UTSA's 10th season of football.

The Roadrunners will open their eighth year of C-USA play on Oct. 3 with a road game at UAB, the two-time defending West Division champion, in Birmingham, Ala.

Following an off weekend, UTSA will host back-to-back league contests against Old Dominion on Oct. 17 and Louisiana Tech on Oct. 24.

The Roadrunners then will hit the road for two straight weekends, facing defending conference champion Florida Atlantic on Oct. 31 in Boca Raton, Fla., and Rice on Nov 7 in Houston.

UTSA will host UTEP on Nov. 14 and North Texas on Nov. 28 to round out the home slate, while the remaining road date is with Southern Miss on Nov. 21 in Hattiesburg, Miss.

C-USA's 16th annual Championship Game, pitting the champions of the East and West Divisions, is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 5.

UTSA's 10th season of football will kick off with a pair of non-conference road contests.

The Roadrunners will open the campaign at LSU, the reigning SEC champion who will play for the national championship on Jan. 13, on Sept. 5 in Baton Rouge, La., before renewing the H-E-B I-35 Showdown with Texas State the following Saturday in San Marcos.

UTSA will welcome Grambling, an FCS member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference, to the Alamodome for the home opener on Sept. 19. The Roadrunners then will host defending American Athletic Conference champion Memphis, which finished the 2019 season with a 12-2 record and an appearance in the Cotton Bowl Classic, on Sept. 26 to close out the non-conference portion of the schedule.

The 2019 C-USA alignment again will feature seven teams in the East Division and seven teams in the West Division. Charlotte, FIU, Florida Atlantic, Marshall, Middle Tennessee, Old Dominion and WKU comprise the East Division, while Louisiana Tech, North Texas, Rice, Southern Miss, UAB, UTEP and UTSA make up the West Division.

Each school will play every team in its division once for six games, while playing two cross-over opponents from the opposite division. Each team will reverse the location of its 2019 division and cross-division opponents, with intra-division foes finishing a two-year cycle. The conference is in the fourth year of a rotation between cross-division opponents that will rotate every two years until 2024, when each school has played every opponent in the opposite division once home and away.

It is important to note that all games are subject to date changes in order to accommodate national television. A schedule of televised games will be released at a later date.

UTSA fans looking to secure the best seats for the 2020 season can do so by placing a $50 Priority Deposit by clicking here. Those who do will receive first access to selecting 2020 season tickets before the general public.

Current season ticket holders do not need to place a deposit for 2020 as renewal information will be sent at a later date.
