UTSA is looking to take 2-3 running backs this cycle. A big target for the staff is Shiner [TX] running back Dadrian Taylor. UTSA is his only offer at the moment, but he's been in contact with Texas State and offer might be on the way.
I talked to Taylor about his recruitment with UTSA. "I'm loving it", he says in regards to him and the Roadrunners. Taylor says he really likes the coaching staff, football program, campus, and San Antonio.
His dream schools are Texas Tech and TCU, but according to him "Oh yeah, they (UTSA) have creeped pretty high up there."
Taylor is in constant contact with coach Sands and although he hasn't come to any spring practices he does plan to attend the spring game.
