Talked to Clear Falls TE Dan Dishman this week to get an update on how his recruitment has been going. Dishman picked up an offer from UTSA back on April 17th.
He is listed as a wide receiver by most recruiting services, but is being recruited as a tight end by UTSA. Dishman tells me that Giovanni Vizza is his main recruiter. I asked him about Vizza.
"He seems like a very good coach, and we have a good friendship. Would love to play under a coach like him."
Dishman had a chance to attend a spring practice a few weeks ago.
"Team had great energy at practice. They are really building something special there."
He went on to talk about what he is looking for in a program he might eventually sign with.
"A great family feeling, good atmosphere, and a desire to win."
Dishman will be camping with UTSA among others this summer. He tells me aside from UTSA, North Texas, Texas State, and SMU have been recruiting him.

"At the top."
