So we started 0-3 vs the P5. I don't think anyone is surprised but I see both sides of the issue to current meltdown by the fans. On one side, this is a young team and they are still working through the growing pains of new players/coaching staff. There have been some encouraging signs from this team. We also played 3 P5 teams. On the other hand, ASU just got had by SDSU and we have made Heisman candidates out of mediocre QBs. Additionally, youth cannot be excuse when App State has the 2nd youngest roster in FBS.
We now head into a 3 game series against sub par teams (TxSt, UTEP, and Rice) followed by a juggernaut of CUSA games vs all contenders (SMiss, LaTech, UAB, UNT, Marshall and FIU)
