The offensive line looked fantastic. UTSA played against on of the better defensive lines they will play against this season and they did an out standing job. Aside from a couple low snaps from Pratt the offensive line as a unit deserves a game ball in my opinion. Great thing is that they are missing arguably their best player in Juan Perez. If this unit can gel as a whole by conference play watch out.
Blake Bogenschutz is everything we though he was and more. Not many redshirt freshman can go into a PAC12 stadium and break the singe game record for passing yards. He had some mistakes early but he got comfortable as the game progressed. He made quick decisions throughout the game. Bogie did have a little bit of trouble throwing the ball early, but he will get the timing with his receivers as he gets more snaps.
Secondary struggled a bit, but UTSA won't play any Cayleb Jones' the rest of the way. Okotcha got picked on at times but he had some great plays throughout the game. Mauricio Sanchez struggled at times too, but again Arizona has some talent at the skill positions
The defensive line look way better than I expected. Marcus Davenport seems to be able to handle a large work load. Jason Neil had a solid game and even forced a fumble. My surprise was Kevin Strong. He lead the team with 2 TFL's and looked really good. My only concern is depth at DE. There is really no excuse to have a walk-on play DE in goal line situations. Give me TJ King or Josiah Tauaefa in there. I'm sure the staff has their reasons.
Skill positions looked fantastic. The one-two punch of JDubb and Rhodes will give teams nightmares. They both looked exceptional last night. Rhodes looks healthy. Happy for that kid. Kerry Thomas is a grown man. You can clearly see why he's the number one reciver. Kenny Bias made some plays and JaBryce caught a ball as well. Can't forget about Warren grad Aron Taylor making that TD catch and run. Great weapons for Bogie.
** Bonus: The man David Morgan is a beast. If he can stay healthy he will be the most productive thought end in CUSA.
