Girdy is a very underrated athlete out of Victoria West. Just check out his Hudl. We have talked about how UTSA needs to get every D1 football player in south Texas. It seems like UTSA is finally starting to draw that line.
Girdy has been getting attention from Nevada, Oklahoma State, and Houston. Fortunately for UTSA Girdy eyes are set on UTSA. He is planning on attending the spring game on April 18th. I asked him if he would be interested in UTSA if they offered, he replied "thats where I attended to go." I went on to ask if he would commit to UTSA if they offered, he replied "I would have to discuss it with my parents, more than likely."
This would be a huge get for UTSA. Girdy will get some big time offers when football season get underway. Think of UTSA signee Matt Guidry, but better.
