Steve Henson, current OU assistant, was officially named UTSA head basketball coach. I asked a reports at the OU site for his thoughts. Here were his words.
"Henson is a great guy. Easiest way to say it would be he's Lon Kruger's right hand man. Been with him forever - going back to KState days all the way through NBA days in ATL. Reruiting wise I think he'll be a guy that surprises some. Players love him. Fiery as opposed to how laid back Kruger is. He was a PG and works mostly with the backcourt guys currently."
Recruiting will be the key to Henson's success.
