I've been having fun on Twitter sending out interesting stats I find. So I decided to post the stats that I think are important depending on who UTSA is playing. Since this is a new feature I'm open for suggestions. If you guys think I should have a stat on here every time let me know.
*All stats are against FBS competition

So. Miss - 23
Rushing plays of 10+ yards allowed:

UTSA - 55
So. Miss - 62
Passing plays of 10+ yards allowed:

Here's what stands out to me. UTSA defense better step up against the passing game. With Gaines out this will be a bit more complicated. UTSA will be able to make So. Miss one dimensional by taking away the running game. Hopefully this will lead to third and long situations for the USM offense. The UTSA offensive line is doing a god awful job at protection the QB. Not only that, but is last in TFL's allowed. THAT IS TERRIBLE.
It's crazy how many rushing plays of 10+ yards UTSA has, they need to keep that up this week. The UTSA rushing defense is solid like it always has been.
