The 2018 recruiting class has taken shape, but it seems to be missing a vital piece. Quarterback Jack Abraham out of Northwest Mississippi C.C. has been hearing from UTSA lately and things seem to be picking up. Abraham originally signed with La. Tech out of high school, but decided to transfer after current Bulldog quarterback J’Mar Smith won the starting the job. Being a full qualifier, Abraham would have three years left and would be able to graduate this December.
I caught up with him tonight to talk some UTSA.
“...I talked to them (UTSA) some last week and they made it to our game last Thursday.”
I asked if he knew which coaches came by.
“I'm not sure. One of my teammates said it was the WRs coach.”
On what they have been discussing.
“Just about how they are excited about me. Haven't gotten the chance to talk to them this week. They told me I was the top guy on their board.”
Abraham does not have an offer from UTSA at the moment, but that might be a matter of time. He currently holds offers from South Alabama and Ball State.
His updated hudl is linked in his profile.
