Cornerback Javontavius Mosley of John Tyler HS committed to UTSA. More to come.
*UPDATE
I was able to speak with Mosley and John Tyler head coach Ricklan Holmes, a man who knows a lot about the cornerback position. Mosley is a 6-foot-1, 170-pound cornerback.
"He's got the size, man. They're (colleges) are all looking for that. You can't always match up with those smaller corners," Holmes said. "He's got speed and natural ability. He has great ball instincts. But, really, it is his length that makes him special. It is a great equalizer for cornerbacks."
For Mosley, his reason behind choosing UTSA was simple. He's yet to visit UTSA, but plans to this summer.
"There's a better chance to play early at UTSA," he said. "It's about playing time."
Mosley holds offers fro Houston, Memphis, SMU and some others. I wouldn't be shocked for him to pick up a few small P5 offers before the end of summer.
