Over the weekend, I exchanged text messages with two 2018 commits who were in attendance at the spring game: 3-star safety Kelechi Nwachuku and 3-star receiver Andrew McGowan.
From Kelechi Nwachuku: "The game was fun. It was cool seeing all the freshmen and the guys coming off a redshirt season play." The 3-star spoke about the relationships he's maintained with the coaches, saying, "I absolutely love the entire coaching staff."
From Andrew McGowan: "I thought the spring game went well. There were tons of big plays on offense, especially from the receivers, which I loved to see." The 2018 pledge added, "The future is bright. I love the direction of the program and everything that's being done in San Antonio."
Both highly touted 2018 recruits left the spring game seemingly even happier with Coach Wilson and company.
