UTSA looks to be in the market for JUCO quarterback. Someone to keep an eye on is Kendall Jackson out of Iowa Central C.C. He got a call from offensive coordinator/quarterback coach Kevin Brown yesterday. He graduates in the December that's probably why UTSA is interested.
When I asked Jackson what he and Brown talked about he said "(we talked about) the possibility of me becoming a roadrunner. Sent transcripts and applied for school. Ball is rolling. ......late but rolling." They hadn't officially offered him a scholarship but he said "We'd discuss that after I get cleared through compliance." He does not have any other offers, but he did have an offer from Tulsa before the coaching changes. He has also been offered a walk-on spot at Texas and Kansas State. He's orinally from Texas (Mansfield). He will have two years left.
