We start off with Oklahoma defensive end Michelby Davis Millwood [OK]. Coach Elliano contacted Davis less than two weeks ago. "He said a lot but very good things about the school, staff, about the state and living benefits. Things like that." He is a bit light at around 195 lbs so he might be a redshirt in his first year, which is not a bad thing. Coach Coker followed him on the Twitters. In the past that usually means an offer is on the way. Davis says, "It would mean a lot I would feel very blessed and thankful." to pick up an offer from UTSA.

Next up is Orange Coast C.C. [CA] defensive back Derrick Worthy. He spoke to the staff for the first time today. He talked to coach Polo on the phone and was quickly forwarded to coach Pop on Twitter. "[Polo/Pop] Told me about the school, expressed their high interest in me and said they hope to get me out there." I got the feeling that Polo watched Worthy's tape recently and forwarded it to Pop. Worthy has three years to play two and does not have any FBS offers at the moment. He would be eligible to sign in February. He is also scheduled to talk to coach Pop on the phone tomorrow.

UTSA is also after offensive lineman Brandon Niccum out of Navarro J.C [TX]. The staff came to practice recently and they were impressed. "They said they are going to talk it [an offer] over as a coaching staff." I am sure we see a couple offers go out to offensive lineman soon.

*I'll get more details on Niccum as I get them.
