Not a whole lot, but I'll pass what I'm hearing along:
- UTSA should feel good about its position with wide receiver Marquez McNair. The three-star former Southern Miss commit's visit is going "very well" according to those close to him. No one will come out and say it and nothing is ever a lock in recruiting, but this is UTSA's to lose at this point. I give it a 70 percent chance he commits by Monday morning.
- I'd probably place the same odds on Coppell defensive end Solomon Wise. The 6-foot-5, 225-pound defensive end is considered by some around the situation to be a "done deal", which is crazy considering how fast this staff took over. My guess is someone on the staff (probably Henderson) had a relationship with him at a previous stop.
- Anything fewer than five commitments from this group would be a disappointment. Two are already on board with McNair and Wise waiting in the wings. Word leading into the weekend was UTSA had a real shot of landing a commitment from Bishop Dunne HS wide receiver/athlete Geraud Sanders. Defensive linemen Amadou Fofana and Michael Perry are also on campus.
