UTSA is looking to add some junior college depth on the offensive line. One of their biggest targets is Gulf Coast C.C. Treyvion Shannon. The 6-5, 290 pound lineman took his official visit over the weekend.
I asked Shannon if this was the first time he visited San Antonio:
“Yes, that was my first time. Great city great people I can see myself there.”
Not a man of many words Shannon said the coaches are “great” and he believes UTSA is a “great” team.
He did have a chance to speak with head coach Frank Wilson. Of Wilson, Shannon said UTSA’s head coach is “an amazing guy”.
UTSA is “definitely at the top”after Shannon’s official visit. He tells me he only has an official to Troy planned as of now.
