After trading a few tweets with Chap Bishop (WKU beat writer), it seems that there are rumors that USA (S.Ala) is pushing hard to be the school that replaces UAB if they are forced to leave CUSA. I hate to say it but I think that day is coming this summer. Yes it's sad but I don't see CUSA changing the bylaws or adding a football only to accommodate UAB. Without the full support of the Alabama BOT, UAB is not bringing back football IMO. I hope I'm wrong.
