Today was the final day of media availability for the Roadrunners before they leave for Albuquerque tomorrow. Below is what Coach Wilson and Trevor Stevens had to say.

- Practice went very well today. It was good to be able to get in a second Tuesday practice as we were able to practice last Tuesday as well. You throw some stuff out and keep some stuff in and certainly the prior week assisted in that as we continue to gameplan. I like our progress.
- You have an archive of plays, offensive and defensive and like at a buffet you pull what suits this defense or this offense. You look at what is good and what is not. It's not necessarily new but its the right calls that will put us in the best position to have success schematically.
- New Mexico is extremely well coached and good at what they do. You can get it right several times and then eventually if one person is out of place it has the potential to split and go down field.
- Very pleased with the work from Baylen Baker, King Newton and Josiah. I think we have enough players to stay fresh and active in the middle. We've had consistent play at that position and this offense will try to touch that but the reality is they can get on the perimeter and force you to make plays in space.
- We see this week as no different than a road game. It's their home field but its still 50 yards wide, 100 yards long.
- We were hopeful with Matt Guidry when we first got here. He kind of was in a back up role and when the opportunity came we pushed him toward that and he has embraced it.
- Not concerned about traveling. We've already established the culture of our team and the expectation of how we travel. Generally we travel with 60 or 70 but this week we are traveling with 104 so we will have a travel meeting today on how we conduct our business when on the road.
