Today after practice Coach Wilson and a few players spoke with the media. Here is what Coach Wilson had to say. Players will be added shortly.

- The quick development of the younger players has been a surprise. In recruiting some of them and some of the ones that were here we knew it would take a little time. Early on they weren't privy to as much time as we would have liked them to have but we are at a point now where they have acclimated, are playing well and continue to progress.
- It is important for the young players to have a short term memory, whether its a PBU, an interception or they make a big completion. Put it behind you and play the next down. The more they're able and apt to do that the better they are.
- Teddrick (McGhee) is long and athletic. He's a former basketball player and has good hand-eye coordination. We watched him play basketball and his movement skills. He played offense so we knew he had ball skills. He has some toughness about him. He can play the ball or combat bigger receivers.
- Didn't notice A&M being in the number 4 slot of the first playoff poll. I'm so focused on this game right here. We'll focus on them when it comes time to. They are an excellent football team and Kevin Sumlin is a great coach.
- We're waiting to see with Ronnie Feist. He has a little hammy (issue) but everybody else should make the trip (to Middle Tennessee).
