Today was a lighter day in terms of media availability as the Roadrunners get closer to their game this Saturday in Denton. Coach Wilson and Devron Davis spoke with the media after practice.

- Good day today. The weather was ideal. It was UTSA weather.
- North Texas is a quality opponent. I think we're focused and the preparation has been good so far.
- Nothing has really changed. Coming in we thought they were a really good team. The film continues to confirm that. They really have no weak(nesses) within their team. They are a well rounded team in all three phases of the game and have really good personnel as well.
- Conference USA West games count in the grand scheme of things of our goals. To achieve what we want we have to win these Conference USA West games. It's heightened because we have a goal and we have a plan to achieve that goal. To do that we must get this one and then the next one and so on and so forth. It's the most important game because its the next one. Its the most important game because its C-USA west, its the most important game because they sit atop the west right now. They're in the position that we desire to be in.
- All three phases we didn't execute well against Southern Miss. We've responded based on the things we did not do well last week. We acknowledged them, we owned them, we went out and corrected those things and then we set forth what could be another set of problems and how will we respond to these problems. We do so by practicing them and putting our teams in those tough situations and responding to them.
- Gameplan doesn't change because both teams are top two scoring offenses in conference. For the offense you got to score one more point than that opponent. For the defense hold them to one less point. For Special Teams put us in position to do either or, whether it is to get a return and get us in that area or whether its a punt to pin them and make it strenuous for them. We just want the W.
- Owning up to his mistakes defines Dalton. That's who he is. It's very becoming of him as a young man to take on that responsibility. I don't necessarily agree that those (interception and missed 2-pt) were his issues or faults. We collectively have to do a better job in every phase of making sure that in those situations we're at our very best and we weren't. That's very admirable of him.
