- Assignment/effort was there today. Got Jordan Moore back from his stomach virus. Only played a series last week. Same with Andrew King and the guys who struggled with that last week.
- We have an opportunity to get the sour taste out of our mouth at home. It was bitter sweet because we played with a lot of effort but didn't get the win. We can rectify that this week.
- This is a big game. This is our last game at home for almost a month. We want to play well against a conference foe from the west. They're a quality team but I promise it is about us. If we play up to our ability, we'll be just fine.
- North Texas is active defensively at every level. Offensively, young quarterback with accuracy. A lot of quick passes, high percentage passes so they don't have to protect long. We need to contest passes, knock passes down. Both of their corners are good football players. They blitz a lot and that puts pressure on offenses. They do about every blitz you could imagine.
- Liked the way we've responded well in practice after the loss. We're trying to build on the things that we did well and work on what we didn't, but we don't want to harbor on the negatives.
- Respect Seth Littrell. Both trying to do the same thing - right the ship, get our teams going in right directions. We're fighting for the same things - conference wins, bowl berth.
