- Practice was spirited today. The guys practiced with effort and energy. Theme was to play full 60 minutes. Haven't put together a complete game for 60 minutes yet. That is the goal this week, to put together a complete game.
- Sometimes you have to lose to win. There are valuable lessons to learn if you pay heed to them. We own the losses and we'll be better because of it.
- Southern Miss is fantastic in all three phases, offense, defense and special teams. At the end of the day we have to reflect on the things that we need to do to allow UTSA to be the best it can be.
- Depth Chart is set in sand not stone.Though McNair and JaBryce Thomas are listed second on the chart we expect both of them to play on Saturday. In our sport there is the formality of someone has to take the field first but the guy thats most productive is going to be the guy thats in there to give us an opportunity to win the game.
- We are healthier than we've ever been so far this year. We have Dannon Cavil and Kevin Strong back out here. Both are expected to play on Saturday.
- We will reap the benefits of so many underclassmen getting to play so far this season throughout the duration of this year and for years to come. We will be better because of it.
