- Fortunate to have a dome and not worry about weather for home games.
- The atmosphere will be important. We need our fan support and it is a tremendous part of us playing well and we encourage everyone to come out. The fans are a part of this.
- Slowing down their QB will be a challenge. He has a chance to play on Sundays and he has a lot of experience.

- Our offense can help our defense by sustaining drives and keep them off the field.
- Our quarterbacks looked good today. We're doing things that cater to their strengths. Dalton will start.
- USM is a physical offense. We need to fly to the ball and communicate.
- We just got to prepare and can't pay attention to what they did last week.
- We haven't been finishing and that is really big focus for us. It is frustrating that we haven't put four quarters together but we have to look past it and pay attention to Southern Miss.
- Knew Josiah was going to be good from his HS film and the way he carried himself once he got here. I knew he was capable of this success. We're really close.
