Frank Wilson and a few players met with the media today. Here are the highlights.

Wilson
- Short week. We had a spirited practice. Worked late Sunday and early Monday
- Wilson glows about Arizona State's three phases of football. Thinks they're improving defensively and are great on special teams. They run ball well, saw what they're capable of against Texas Tech.
- We welcome the opportunity and are excited to be on national television. Our intent is to win. We'll compete and represent Roadrunner Nation.
- Great practice today. Guys were eager. "Let your scars show" because it means it healed. We're ready to move beyond it.
- We didn't do things necessary to win the football game against CSU. We're going to learn how to take advantage of those opportunities. Look forward to being better this week.
- Always confident in Pete Golding. He's done an outstanding job. Does the things between series and at halftime to put us in a position to win. That's what a good staff does.
- We need to finish. Transfer what we learn here to game day. Nothing presented itself in the CSU game that we had never seen before. We just didn't execute at the end when it counted most.
- Thought both QBs played admirable. We need to help them by blocking and catching the ball. Our WR need to break a tackle and go make plays.
- Dalton will start. We go into every game with anticipation both players could lead us to a win.
- Jarveon 100 percent by Friday.
- Halen Steward is day-to-day, likely out against Arizona State.
- Watched ASU live and in the morning. Didn't watch LSU game.
