- Good day today, very productive.
- Special teams is a priority for us. It is 1/3 of a football game. A lot of our success so far has stemmed from solid special teams play. We've created three turnovers on special teams. ODU does some interesting things, but we have coaches who are familiar with what they do.
- If you're not good enough to play special teams here, then you're probably not good enough to play offense or defense. We want our best players playing special teams. We'll rest a guy on offense or defense before we'll rest him on special teams.
- We're excited for the atmosphere Saturday. It's the beauty of college football.
- Offensively, we need to finish. Get our backs vertical, finish blocks. Collectively, we have to do a better job running the football. It'll take every position doing its job.
- CUSA is competitive from top to bottom.
- Shaq Williams is important. Want to keep him involved in running and passing game.
- Need to get more consistent at WR. Need to be more disciplined in our routes.
- Defense is doing really well at times. They're embracing tough coaching and getting better each day.
- We're going to coach with toughness, but be constructive and encouraging. We need to play hard through the whistle.
- Spoke about dropping the ball before scoring. Says, as a team, they went over it. "You probably wouldn't want to turn the cameras towards me if it happened" he said half joking.
