- Really good day of preparation today. Energy was great. Enthusiasm was there. Our focus is where it needs to be. We just need to build on today for the next day.
- Baylor defensive front is massive inside. They are extremely athletic. They're linebackers are experienced. They return every starter from their linebacking corps minus one. They have a youthful secondary but very talented. They boast two of the better young corners in the country.
- We'll have packages to match up with Baylor. The depth chart is one thing and then as the game goes on, depending on what that offense does against us we'll adjust accordingly. We have a starting group that will go out but it's interchangeable based on what our opponent will give us.
- Baylor offense has speed on the outside when you look at guys like Platt. They can flat out run. They're youthful at the tailback position, they have two freshmen who will step in for their injured starters. They're extremely talented. The quarterback is extremely talented. Was able to go back and watch him from two years ago when he was at Arizona playing against us here. They are massive on the offensive line. I don't know if they have anybody under 6'5" 300 lbs.
- If something happened to Dalton or Bryce, right now the third guy would be Frank Harris or Alin.
- Too early to decide on redshirts. It will kind of declare itself as we go into the season. Right now every able body that can help us win the football game if called upon, we'll put them in. We're not thinking about tomorrow, we have to deal with present day.
- Pleased with the progress of the quarterbacks. We have some quality depth at the position that we'll need to continue to develop to get to the place where we need them to be come the middle part of the season.
- Think our corners match up well with Baylor. At times we won't necessarily leave them out there by themselves, they'll get some help from safeties over top to take some of that strain off them.
- Our wide receivers are progressing well. We have some guys who stepped up who a year ago weren't at the place they are now, guys like Greg Campbell and Peyton Hall, guys who hadn't played a lot in the past but who've been given the opportunity and have taken advantage of it.
