- We try to emulate the opponent as much as possible. Today was our best Wednesday practice to date. We challenged our guys to have a spirited practice. Our scout team guys gave us great looks. Our most valuable players were our scout team. They gave us looks for CSU on both sides of the ball.
- Spoke highly of Dr. Romo. Not had a chance to visit with him after retirement. Looking forward to speaking with him and have trust in university to find a replacement. Romo is "my guy"
- Jarveon didn't put on pads, but did some things on his own. Didn't want to risk anything. He'll get a shot tomorrow.
- Respect coach Bobo
- Sturm's leadership continues to grow. His command in huddle and on the field is something we like him. He's a tremendous athlete. Might have his money on Sturm to win a slam dunk competition on the team (used it as example of Sturm's athletic ability)
- Won't use revenge as motivation.
