Last night UTSA extended a preferred walk on offer to Round Rock WR Tyler Mahnke. This is a guy that blew up in his senior season. Age wise he should be a junior so he made a huge jump in athleticism coming from his junior season to this year. At 6'3", 210 Mahnke is a physical downfield threat and a forceful blocker. Mahnke was a unanimous all district selection and caught 34 catches for 691 total receiving yards, scored 6 TDs, and averaged 19.6 yards per catch with a season long of 68 yards. Mahnke also has a scholarship offer Abilene Christian.
