I started thinking about the 2017 class and the needs of UTSA and that made me look at the roster. Here are some things that stood out to me:
UTSA loses around 12 scholarship seniors after 2016. If there are four or five scholarships left, that allows UTSA to use around 15-18 scholarships in 2017. I'd assume there is a grad transfer or two, but there will also likely be attrition. That makes it about a 15-20 member class if all pans out as expected, maybe less if players don't leave.

RB: 3 (Williams, Vaughn, White)
WR: 1 (JaBryce Taylor)
TE: 2? (Trevor Stevens, possibly Austin Blake-Smith
OL: Gabe Casillias, Cody Cole

DT: 2 (Vontrell King-Williams, Jonathan Tuiolosega)
LB: 0
S: 1 (Mike Egwuagu)
CB: 0
