- Good practice today, need to get better. Third down emphasis today and it is a critical component of the game. We did that well last week and need same type of production on third down. As well as win the turnover the battle.
- We were +2 today, defense won the turnover battle in practice.
- Domond with a nick, should be ready by Saturday. Everyone else is good to go. Fatigue risks injury, so developing quality depth allows more players to play, less guys are tired, so fewer major injuries. Also a reflection of work by team with the S&C coaches/staff.
- Ruston will be a tough place to play. Coach Holtz sent out a rally cry for his fan base since they've been on the road lately. It is homecoming and we expect a loud crowd.
- Thinks La Tech QB is a lot like Dalton. Can do things with his legs when things break down. Has trust in his receivers. They've been very productive.
