I caught up with Cypress Ridge running back Alex Jacobs who took an unofficial visit to UTSA this past Saturday.
"I liked it i liked the facility i liked the coaches they really showed great interest in me it seems like they have solid program to offer for athletes."
Coach Sands is Jacobs main recruiter although it seems their relationship is just getting going Jacobs had some great things to say about coach Samds.
"Pretty good so far im still getting to know him we talk every now and then but for the most part when i met with him on my visit he seemed like a good guy to be around."
Jacobs currently holds offers from SMU, Rice, and UTSA. Except him to gain a couple more as his senior season gets under way. As what he is looking for in a program Jacobs said, "Good education something that can benefit me after football and of course a good football program where i can develop and become a great athlete." Jacobs wants to commit either before his senior season or in the middle of next season. He is definitely someone to keep an eye on as the recruiting cycle goes on.
