There are a lot of talented defensive players that we saw get Red Shirts this past season. The defensive line is set to get a pretty solid infusion of talent and size. Josiah T, Baylen Baker, TJ King, and King Newton could all see some solid playing time next season. TJ King appeared to have grown out of DE, but if he was able to keep his speed with the added weight him and Tauefa could see a lot of playing time at Defensive End. Baker looked like a 290 pound monster in the fall.
On offense most of the RS players were lineman and QBs that probably won't be counted on to contribute much next season. We could see someone like Jess Anders or Matt Guidry contribute, but that would probably be more on special teams.
Shane Block and Kelby Wickline have gotten good reviews from things I've read throughout the season. Wickline has been singled out by staff as playing well with scout teams.
