Was able to talk to some people close to the program to get some impressions of yesterday’s scrimmage:
- If Frank Harris can stay healthy this team can be special.
- BUT if he cannot stay healthy it might be repeat of last season.
- Cordale Grundy was QB2.
- Narcisse, Weeks are a work in progress.
- Was hard to tell how good the first team offensive line is since Frank Harris is so good.
- Brenden Brady has “it”.
- Sincere McCormick was very good yesterday.
- No receivers stood out too much since they focused on running the ball.
- Tight ends made some good catches.
- On defense, Solomon Wise was a beast. He can have a huge impact on the defensive line.
- Martel had a good day.
- Hard to judge the linebackers right now.
