So earlier today, I ran across some tweets from this individual that I follow on Twitter about how approximately three football players walked out on their tabs (a.k.a. dine and dash) at a restaurant today; this individual was their server and sounded very upset because she fears that their action of not paying will cause her to get in trouble now with her superiors.

Now, I don't really know all of the names of those involved, and even though it's probably not my business to be posting about this either since it's probably not my place to bring this incident to light publicly in this fashion (plus I can't really verify the veracity of this allegation, which is what I can appropriately call it at this time), this doesn't take away from the fact that this is an embarrassment not only to themselves but also to the rest of the football team; these guys may not realize it but their actions both on and off the field contribute to the image of the entire football team - it reflects on everyone involved with the organization, from players to coaches - and if something negative occurs, it looks bad on everyone who's involved. It could also - and most likely will - get them into trouble with the coaches (apparently this young lady has already e-mailed Coach Coker about it).

This brings me to my next point - the other reason why I'm posting about this: we all have heard about players getting suspended for a game or so this past season and it doesn't surprise me why; this kind of behavior is probably what has caused some of these guys to miss games. These types of actions add further frustration to a disappointed season that seemed to lack leadership.
