SAN ANTONIO — The eighth annual UTSA Football Fiesta Spring Game presented by HealthTexas Medical Group will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at Dub Farris Athletic Complex (8400 North Loop 1604 West).
Admission and parking are free and gates to the stadium will open at 11 a.m. Fans are asked to enter the facility through the northwest gates and fill the west side of the stadium first. Cash-only concessions will be available inside the stadium.
UTSA Athletics will provide free bus transportation for current students from the Convocation Center to Dub Farris Athletic Complex from noon to 1:30 p.m. The return trips to the Convocation Center are scheduled to run from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Students must present a valid ID.
Tailgating is restricted to non-alcoholic beverages and no heating elements will be allowed in the parking lots.
Official team gear from several different sports will be available for purchase from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the northwest corner of the facility. Items for sale include bowl shirts, jerseys, shirts, shorts, sweatpants, cleats and drawstring bags.
For the first time ever, UTSA Athletics will be selling official Fiesta medals. These will be available for $10 (limited supply of 1,500) in the team gear sale area. Additionally, fans who make new season ticket purchases with the UTSA Ticket Sales Team at the game on Saturday will receive one official UTSA Athletics Fiesta medal per account.
Free family-friendly events such as face painting, a photo booth, inflatables and games will be located near the northwest entrance to the facility from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. An autograph session with UTSA football coaches and student-athletes will be held on the field following the conclusion of the game.
The UTSA football season ticket renewal deadline is April 17. The UTSA Ticket Sales Team will be on site to assist anyone who would like to renew or purchase new season tickets.
The roster will be split into two teams — Blue and White — for the game, which will mark the conclusion of the Roadrunners' spring season of 15 workouts.
