Wanted to pick your brains on how you see the state of Texas performing in 2016. I'm personally relatively bullish on Texas as I'm a big, big believer in Shane Buechele after watching him at the spring game. Not super high on the Aggies but I believe they've been discounted to the point of being a value pick to compete in the SEC West. Chavis should have fun scheming ways to disrupt offenses with Daylon Mack and Myles Garrett next to each other on the defensive line.
On the G5 side of things I have UTEP competing for the CUSA West title while UNT and TXST suffer through some brutal seasons with low scholarship numbers. I see Rice being just about even with UTSA this year. I think Houston is due for a small let down this season but they're still going to play great football. Just don't think they have the horses to take down OU in week one and that sadly might be enough to bump them out of NYE bowl consideration if someone like SDSU runs the table with wins against Cal and NIU.
