According to the UTSA SID department, UTSA exited the fall with 56 scholarship players and should enter the fall (if no unexpected attrition happens) with 78 scholarship players. By my count, UTSA has around 15-17 scholarship seniors planning to depart after the season. After talking someone around the program, it has become clear that UTSA thinks it can get close or right at the 25 scholarship player mark in this recruiting class, which is higher than I originally anticipated. Expect recruiting to start picking up with the spring evaluation period plus summer camps because there are more open spots than originally anticipated.
