Just gonna go down the list and give some thoughts on who I think should see some playing time this season. Not gonna do December Jucos. I have a feeling we don't see a ton of Red Shirts from this group.
Devron Davis DB: 3 star JUCO that should see significant playing time immediately.
Marquez McNair WR: 3 star JUCO that is already listed as the starting Slot WR. Explosive on his hudl. Instantly a legit CUSA weapon.
Solomon Wise DE: Singled out by different coaches as someone that has impressed in camp. Very thin DE/OLB depth chart should have him seeing some playing time this season.
Eric Banks ATH Memphis: Another DE singled out by coaching staff as being very impressive. Like Wise, could see PT based off thin depth chart.
Teddrick McGhee CB: Singled out by coach Golding as a freshman that has been impressive. Could see some special teams as well as snaps at CB.
Josh Oatis OL: Will get a Red Shirt. Unless all hell breaks loose.
Jesse Ebozue WR: Signed in December and participated in Spring camp. WR is deep, and Jesse should get a RS
Jarrod McLin DE: Might be the most like of the 3 freshman DE's to get a RS. Very impressive #'s out of Carthage HS. Needs to add mass.
Jack Giblin WR: RS and is transitioning to TE.
Carrington Kearney DB: Haven't heard much on him, but as a HS QB transitioning to CB I think a Red Shirt is much needed.
