Linebacker Koby Welch (Pierce C.C. [CA]) has been in contact with coach Roark and might be on the verge of an offer.
"I've talked to coach Roark multiple times on the phone and he came to my school to visit, he's supposed to be calling me today."
Wouldn't be surprised if an offer went out soon.

Next up is San Bernardino C.C. OT Paul Ramirez. He has two years to play two and has offers from Colorado State, Middle Tennessee, and the Buffalo.
"Oh yes they are very interested in me. Coach Gutierrez said he would get me on the phone in a week. I'm sure that mean they'll meet as a staff and decide where I land on the list."
I gauged his interest of UTSA were to offer.
"I would, but I'd like to take a visit before I had to commit (if I get that option of course ). But from what I see from the internet it looks like a solid program."
I asked about immediate playing time.
"Well generally when coaches recruit juco players they look for players who are ready to go in upon arrival. So yes it would be (a factor)."
I think Ramirez could come in and start at RT from day one. UTSA just needs to offer and see if they can beat out some teams they've beat in the past.
