Jack Bradley, the tight end out of Bishop Lynch, and I got to talk again about some new things going on in his recruitment. Jack told me that he’s recently been hearing from some new schools such as rice and some Ivy League schools like Dartmouth and Columbia. He talked about the schools that are standing out to him right now, saying, “Schools that stand out are definitely the ones here in Texas like UTSA and Rice, but also I’m interested in seeing what the Ivy League is like.” I asked Bradley if he’s been to any camps, and he talked about how he’s attended one showcase so far with “Next Level”, but he plans on attending some more camps soon.

Jack went on to tell me that the coach he hears from the most from UTSA is Coach Vizza. He also talked about how he wants to make it down to campus sometime this spring, but he’s unsure as to if he’ll be at UTSA’s spring game. I decided to ask him where UTSA stands in his recruitment, and he said, “UTSA is definitely a school I’m interested in because of the coaching staff and it would just be a great place to go to college.”

Jack continued by telling me that he is still weighing all of his options and that he currently doesn’t have a timetable for his commitment. I asked about what he considers to be the greatest factor that will determine where he commits to, and he told me, “I think the greatest factor is going to be if the place is somewhere I can see myself spending my college years and be able to lean on a degree from there, no matter what I do after college.” Life after college and football is something that UTSA’s staff is going to sell hard for Bradley, and a degree from UTSA can surely set Jack up for a successful life after college.
