We've had 5 total signing classes. Thought it'd be fun to take some time to update every player that has ever put pen to paper for us. I'll try to do a class a day (or so).

If you have more info on any of the guys that left the team PLEASE feel free to jump in. Would love to hear your thoughts on some of the guys. Favorites per class. Favorite memories per player.

2010 (Inaugural Class)

This class committed on a hope and a prayer. We all know the story. 1 football, 1 helmet, borrowed jersies, etc. Committing to play FCS football AND take a year off from actual games to practice for 1 full season. These are the originals.

Crosby Adams - A 3 star CB from Roosevelt HS here in San Antonio. Crosby was an off and on starter for all 4 seasons. One of the original 18. He was never a true stud, but played some real good football for UTSA.

Brandon Armstrong - Another Roosevelt kid that chose to stay home. Tiny but shifty, Brandon carved out a solid niche as a change of pace back that the staff could use in many different ways and positions of the field. I've always maintained that Brandon would be one of the hardes of the original 18 to replace. A very unique skill set.

Corey Brite - A 2 star athlete from Giddings, TX. Never qualified. Ended up at Blinn where he apparently washed out.

Brady Brown - Transfer from A&M Kingsville. Had to quit after 1 season for medical reasons. Remained on scholarship as a med RS through graduation.

Richard Burge - 4 year contributor from Stratford HS in Houston. Appeared in over 40 games for UTSA. Rotational DT that will be hard to replace. Very good player for us.

Robert Chapman - Center from Clark HS here in San Antonio. A member of the original class, but transferred to the Aggies to pursue a walk on possibility. Couldn't find any evidence that he actually played for the Ags.

Chris Dorsey - DT from Rice HS in Altair. Like Brite, never qualified and ended up at Blinn. Unlike Brite, he continued his playing career at Sul Ross.

Nick Garza - Blazing WR from the Valley that ended up pursuing track and baksetball at HIggings U in Minnesota. Arm injury kept him from pursuing football.

David Glasco - Local RB from Wagner HS is our all time leading rusher. One of the greats from this class.

Cody Harris - Starter at tackle for most of the 4 years he was on campus. Attended Smithson Valley HS in Spring Branch.

Dominique Henderson - 3 star DT from Roosevelt. Played in 6 games our first season before washing out. Not sure if he ended up anywhere else.

Earon Holmes - 4 year contributor at WR. Local kid that attended Brack HS. Big bodied guy that was never really able to reach the potential we all hoped he would.

Cole Hubble - Once upon a time Cole Hubble was our QB of the future. A 3star QB from Bandera HS, Cole was a casualty of St. Soza, and moved to TE. Ended up as a big contributor as a solid 2 way TE.

Scott Inkseep - Stud guard from the first day he stepped foot on campus. Antoher valley kid. Hopefully we see him playing on Sundays soon.

Chris Johnson - Highest rated recruit from this class. RB from East Central started his career with grade issues, and ended it as wasted talent. Played the inaugural season only to wash out quickly afterward.

Nic Johnston - One of the true leaders of our defense from day 1. Started nearly 40 games at Dawg for us before an injury ended his senior season way too early.

Kam Jones - Another one of the original 18 that contributed from day 1. Our most explosive offensive player for 4 straight seasons. Wish we could have found out what type of numbers he could have put up without our weird WR roations.

Nate Leonard - Started every game in our short history at center. May have had his issues as a senior, but will go down as one of the true greats from this inaugural class.

Sean Luchnick - WR transfer from Penn State (local kid from Oconnor HS) never really made much of a mark while on campus. Believe he ended up as a back up safety by his senior season.

Marcellus Mack - Another kid from Giddings. Mack was a 4 year contributor at WR, and ended up one of the top 3 leaders in receptions his senior season. Solid, if unspectacular player for us.

Ferrington Macon - One of the first kids to ever commit. The bowling ball DT from Corpus was a huge part of DT roation for 4 straight season.

Jade Pender - The only TE commit (and first out of state commit) in this class never ended up contributing. Transferred to Colorado St. as a walk on where he seems to have never made much of a mark there.

Drew Phillips - A weird case. A starter our first season at OT, that mysteriously left the team. Would love to hear the reason. I'll keep waiting.

Cody Rogers - Recruited as a LB out of Brandeis HS here in San Antonio. Rogers turned himself into a solid contributor at Defensive End. Always undersized, but never out worked.

Darrien Starling - 4 year contributor at CB from Tyler Tx. Had his moments, both good and bad. One of the original 18.

John Walker - LB from Humble, TX played in 9 games (starting 1) our first season. Left the team shortly thereafter. Went JUCO, but not sure he ended up anywhere after that.

Jake Wanamaker - WR from Central Catholic was a solid contributor our inaugural season, but left the team to play for the Ivy League Columbia Tigers. Played 1 season there before quitting.
