Sorry to be getting this up so late on Thursday night after three of the commits have already played. Work, home duties, dad duties, etc. were calling my name until a certain four-year-old finally went to sleep. If you're looking for a game to see in San Antonio this weekend, you've still got plenty of good options for Friday night.

Last week, both of the team's tight end commits played on the road at Corpus Christi. This week, both QB commits play against teams from Laredo. If you happen to be in Shreveport, Louisiana on Saturday you can catch two UTSA commits on the same field, albeit at different times, as the Independence Bowl Stadium is hosting a triple-header of inter-state matchups, with Tyler John Tyler and Bossier City Parkway among the teams competing.

QB Frank Harris
(Schertz Clemens)
Friday, September 9 at 7:30, vs. Laredo Alexander (Lehnhoff Stadium)

QB Bryce Rivers (SA Stevens)
Friday, September 9 at 7:30, vs. Laredo United (Gustafson Stadium)

RB Robert McKnight (Bossier City Parkway)
Saturday, September 10 at 4:00, vs. Lufkin (Shreveport's Independence Bowl Stadium)
Note: this game is the 2nd one in Saturday's triple-header Battle on the Border. See also: Javontavious Mosley's entry.

RB Dadrian Taylor (Shiner)
Friday, September 9 at 7:30, vs. Wallis Brazos

TE Michael Goff (SA Johnson)
Played Thursday night vs. SA Brennan. Johnson won and it seems they were helped in the win by an uncharacteristically short kickoff by Johnson place-kicker Zach Elder (who we've talked about a bit before on this board) that Johnson recovered.

TE Chance McLeod (Victoria East)
Friday, September 9 at 7:30, at San Antonio East Central

OL Keeyon Smart (Kilgore College - Kilgore, TX)
Saturday, September 10 at 6:30, at Arkansas Baptist College

DE Robert Fuentes (SA Southwest)
Friday, September 9 at 7:30, vs. SA Holmes

DE Javaris Steward (Denton Ryan)
Played Thursday night, his team beat Wylie East 40-21, with their defense holding East to just 205 offensive yards and "holding" four-star Iowa RB commit Eno Benjamin to 142 yards on 26 carries.

LB De'Marco Guidry (La Marque)
Played Houston North Forest on Thursday night.

LB Donovan Perkins (Zachary, LA)
Friday, September 9 at 7:00, at Catholic-B.R. (at Baton Rouge's Olympia Stadium)
Note: Perkins's Zachary team is Louisiana's defending LHSAA 5A state champion, and their opponent this week, Catholic-B.R., won last year's private school Division I state championship.

DB Kenderius Glenn (Meridian, MS)
Friday, September 9 at 7:00, at Macon (MS) Noxubee County

DB Jaylon Lane (Independence Community College - Independence, KS)
Saturday, September 10 at 1:00, at Garden City CC

DB Javontavious Mosley (Tyler John Tyler)
Saturday, September 10 at 12:00, vs. New Orleans Warren Easton (at Shreveport's Independence Bowl Stadium)
Note: This is the first game in a "Battle on the Border" triple-header of games this Saturday in Shreveport. Easton has been one of Louisiana's top 4A programs in the past few years. In each of the past 3 seasons they advanced three rounds or more in the playoffs and ended their playoff run with a single-digit loss to the eventual state champion.

DB Tay'lor Perry (Crosby)
Idle this week

DB Vince Vallair (Beaumont Central)
Saturday, September 10 at 4:00, vs. Vidor (Dr. C.A. Thomas Multipurpose Center)
