UTSA to face Sam Houston at Toyota Center
UTSA to face Sam Houston on Dec. 11 in Houston
SAN ANTONIO -- As part of its non-conference schedule, UTSA men’s basketball will travel to Houston’s Toyota Center to face Sam Houston on Dec. 11, it was announced by the U-Sports Group on Thursday afternoon.
The event will be UTSA’s second appearance in The Battleground 2k21 event after also facing Oregon State in 2019-20 in the event at Houston’s Toyota Center. The event will also feature Texas A&M and TCU facing off in the nightcap of the event on Dec. 11.
The event will also serve as a Houston community campaign called Athletes Against Abuse, which will help partner with youth organizations who support children that have been abused, abandoned, neglected or impoverished.
Tickets will go on sale Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. online at ToyotaCenter.com and at the Toyota Center box office. Times and television information will be announced at a later date.
