This afternoon UTSA hosted Pro Day. There were about 15 or so former Roadrunner players and representatives from all 32 NFL teams and a few Canadian Football League teams. Of course everyone was there to scout Marcus Davenport (He only did positional drills) but other Roadrunners got a chance to show what they could do in front of the scouts.

A few Roadrunners who looked good out there (in addition to Davenport):
- Dalton Sturm: Sturm had several former targets out there to help him catch passes. The chemistry was still there between him and the receivers (JaBryce Taylor, Josh Stewart, Kerry Thomas and Shaq Williams were the targets). He looked like his season ended last week and not four months ago. His passes were crisp and there were only a few drops.
- Nate Gaines: Gaines had a strong showing in the 40 as well as the shuttle and his position drills. There was nothing to show times or other but it looked like Gaines had a good day.
- The entire UTSA program: The fact that every NFL team was represented as well as NFL Network sending out a camera crew to document Marcus Davenport can do wonders for the brand as well as the other players who worked out at the pro day. One cannot put a price on the publicity that can come to a university with the chance of a player being drafted early in the first round of the draft.
