BRISTOL, Conn. — ESPN officials on Monday announced that No. 22/23 UTSA’s Conference USA road game at UTEP on Nov. 6in El Paso will be televised nationally on ESPN2. Kickoff has been moved to 9:15 p.m. CT/8:15 p.m. MT at the Sun Bowl to accommodate the national broadcast.
The Roadrunners, who are off this weekend, ran their record to 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the league with a 45-16 road triumph over Louisiana on Saturday night. Winners of a school-record eight straight games — the third-longest active streak — UTSA now stands as one of nine undefeated FBS teams.
The Miners, 6-1 overall and 3-0 in C-USA, will face Florida Atlantic this Saturday, Oct. 30, in Boca Raton.
UTSA and UTEP have met eight times previously with the Roadrunners owning a 6-2 advantage in the series. UTSA has won four straight meetings with the Miners and have come out on top in all four matchups played in El Paso.
