As I was walking through the different position groups Friday one wide receiver kept catching my eye. Quentrevious Wright is a wide receiver out of Holmes high school here in San Antonio the tall lanky wide out stood out to me for a good reason as he had an offer from UTSA. Not a lot of offers made to kids in San Antonio get by me so I was surprised to learn that Wright had an offer. I could see why the coaching staff decided to extend him an offer. He was paired up with UTSA commit Andrew McGowan and they were both making plays left and right. Wright is listed at 6-6, but he might be closer to 6-4, regardless he has great speed and great hands from a dude that big. I caught up to him after camp to get his thoughts on camp, the coaching staff, and UTSA
"I'm going to be honest with you I can't wait to commit to UTSA. Love the campus and I can already tell it's family."
I asked him what his timeline for committing was.
"Well I'm about to be a senior so I'm going to commit like in the middle of the second semester"
A bit tricky if you ask me because UTSA might use his spot by then, but Wright only has offers from UIW and New Mexico State so he might be holding out for the big offers.
